Pamoja Place is more than a service provider; we are a culturally grounded, community‑held space where joy, food, language, and culture are centered. Our programs and policies are shaped by people with lived experience of the inequities we address, and our relationships with families are long‑term, trust‑based, and rooted in partnership.

Ujima Program

Our Ujima Fund provides essential support; groceries, gas, ferry tickets, utilities, hygiene items, clothing, rental assistance, and medical expenses, ensuring families can stabilize and thrive.

If you would like support, please reach out to pamojaplacewhidbey@gmail.com

We are dedicated to removing every barrier to healing, safety, and thriving for BIPOC families on Whidbey Island. We meet people on their terms, not ours, and we let them define what support and barrier reduction look like for their household. Pamoja Place is, and will always be, a community‑driven organization shaped by the lived experiences, wisdom, and aspirations of the people we serve.
